Whitewater Kayak Roll Session #2
Date: Sunday, March 9th, 2025
Location: Alfond Youth and Community Center in Waterville, ME
Time: 4:00pm - 6:00pm
Join Skowhegan Outdoors for our Whitewater Pool Session Series at the Alfond Youth and Community Center in Waterville. This is both an opportunity to define old skills and learn new ones with rolling instruction from experienced mentors.
Please remember:
Helmets are required!
Kayaks must be thoroughly cleaned prior to entering the pool area.
Please all check in at the Welcome Desk before coming in (sometimes one person checks in and then opens the fire doors for everyone else to come in without realizing that the door is alarmed!)
Attendance is free thanks to our partners! Please consider a donation to Skowhegan Outdoors in lieu of payment.
If you would like to borrow a kayak and gear from Skowhegan Outdoors please reach out to Amber, amber@mainstreetskowhegan.org, no later than 24 hours in advance. We have several whitewater boats, PFDs, skirts, and helmets available.
This is a free community activity coordinated by the Skowhegan Outdoors AmeriCorps Program, an initiative of nonprofit Main Street Skowhegan.
