We’re looking for volunteers to help us prepare for our upcoming Skijoring event by shoveling and clearing snow at the event site.
This is a hands-on, community-focused opportunity and a great way to support a fun local tradition. Whether you can stay for the full time or just help for a bit, we’d love to have you!
🗓 Date: Friday, February 20th
⏰ Time: 10:00am - 2:00pm
📍 Location: 33 Constitution Ave, Skowhegan Fair Grounds
🥪 Lunch included for all volunteers
What You’ll Be Doing:
Shoveling snow
Clearing walkways and event areas
Helping prep the site for a safe and successful event
What to Bring:
Warm clothing
Snow boots
Gloves
A shovel if you have one (we’ll have some available)

Main Street Skowhegan is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on the ongoing revitalization of historic Skowhegan, Maine. Founded in 2005 by a group of citizens, Main Street relies on hardworking staff, energetic AmeriCorps members, a dedicated Board of Directors, and more than a hundred awesome volunteers to execute major community initiatives and events.
