    What to Expect

This full-day experience is designed for riders with prior mountain biking experience who are comfortable riding singletrack and are ready to spend a full day on the trails.

After meeting at Basecamp, the group will travel together to the Sugarloaf Outdoor Center, where guides will review trail conditions, route options, and group goals for the day. The ride will cover a mix of flowing singletrack, rolling terrain, and more technical trail features, with route choices adjusted based on group ability and interest.

Guides will provide coaching throughout the day, offering support with line choice, pacing, climbing and descending technique, and trail awareness. Breaks are built in for rest, skill discussion, and refueling, with lunch provided mid-day. The focus is on exploration and progression rather than speed, creating a supportive environment for riders looking to build confidence over longer distances and more varied terrain.

Participants should expect a full but manageable day that emphasizes time in the saddle, good trail flow, and shared experience on the bike.

The full itinerary will be provided 1 week in advance of this program.
