    This women-focused skills clinic emphasizes confidence-building and foundational mountain bike techniques including body position, braking, cornering, and trail awareness.

    What to Expect

    Mountain bike programs focus on skill development, trail awareness, and confidence on varied terrain. Skills may include body positioning, braking, cornering, climbing and descending techniques, followed by guided trail riding to apply those skills in real conditions.

    Group pacing is adjusted to participant ability, and instructors emphasize progression, safety, and trail etiquette.

    Full itinerary will be sent 1 week in advance of this program.

    • Bike gloves (recommended)

    Cancellation Policy
    • More than 7 days prior to the program: Full refund
    • 3–7 days prior: 50% refund or full credit toward a future Skowhegan Outdoors program
    • Less than 72 hours prior or no-show: No refund

    Programs may be rescheduled or canceled by Skowhegan Outdoors due to weather, water levels, or safety concerns. In these cases, participants will receive a full refund or program credit.
