Join the Crew: Trail Building Event
Wednesday, July 16th
9AM to 12PM
Somerset Woods Trustees will be working alongside a Maine Conservation Trail Crew to rehabilitate and relocate a portion of the Blue Trail at Wesserunsett Stream Preserve.
We are looking for volunteers who can help establish steps, pack out unused materials, and support trail building/
This event is best suited for adults. Participants should expect physical labor with fun, but challenging work.
Tools and personal protective equipment (such as work gloves and eye-protection) will be provided by Somerset Woods Trustees, although participants are encouraged to bring their own if they have them. All participants should expect to sign a waiver upon arrival.

Directions: From the downtown Skowhegan areas, follow Route 2 to Malbons Mills Road. Take a left onto Malbons Mills, heading northeast. After about a mile, take a right into the neighborhood on Robin Street. Robin Street will turn into Robin Court shortly after the turn; stay on Robin Court. You will then take a right onto Evergreen Drive. Continue down Evergreen Drive until the pavement ends and you see a blue and green "Somerset Woods Trustees" diamond sign. Continue straight to the end of the road. Park alongside the road.
