Skowhegan Outdoors is a community-driven outdoor recreation initiative dedicated to ensuring that everyone - regardless of background or experience - has access to free, guided outdoor activities and equipment.
We are proud to offer a variety of summer camp experiences designed specifically for youth ages 14 and older. All of our camps are free to attend, with food and gear provided. No prior outdoor experience is necessary.
Each camp runs as a day program throughout the week and concludes with a memorable overnight adventure to apply new skills, build friendships, and explore the outdoors together.

Main Street Skowhegan is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on the ongoing revitalization of historic Skowhegan, Maine. Founded in 2005 by a group of citizens, Main Street relies on hardworking staff, energetic AmeriCorps members, a dedicated Board of Directors, and more than a hundred awesome volunteers to execute major community initiatives and events.
