Ready to hit the trails and glide your way into winter fun? Join us for a cross-country ski clinic at the scenic Lakewood Golf Course! Whether you’re brand new to skiing or looking to sharpen your skills, this clinic is a great way to get outside, stay active, and enjoy the snowy season.
We’ll cover the basics of technique, tips for efficient skiing, and how to make the most of your time on the trails. Bring your own skis or borrow some from us—we’ve got gear ready to share so everyone can join in!
What to Bring:
Warm layers and winter boots for before and after skiing
Your sense of adventure (and maybe a little balance!)
Your own cross-country skis, or borrow some on-site
This free community event is coordinated by the Skowhegan Outdoors AmeriCorps Program, an initiative of nonprofit Main Street Skowhegan.
