  • Flat water boating at its finest! Meet up with Greg for a guided paddle along the Wesserunsett Stream. Participants will meet at Basecamp first, then caravan to the start.

    WHAT TO EXPECT?

Bring your boat or borrow one from Skowhegan Outdoors Basecamp and join us for a fantastic evening float. Flat water kayaks and canoes work best for this paddle. And for those interested, you are welcome to bring fishing gear!

This is a family friendly activity, and anyone under the age of 15 should be accompanied by an adult.

Our team is happy to share paddling instructions for anyone starting out or those who just want a refresher. This will be an easy-going float, with plenty of time for fishing, practicing strokes and meeting new folks!

Gear list: boat, paddle, PFD. We also recommend water and snacks, along with any other items you feel you need. Fishing gear!

Need to borrow gear? Please submit your request to Basecamp a minimum of 24 hours before the event.

    Advance registration is encouraged.

This is a free community activity coordinated by the Skowhegan Outdoors AmeriCorps Program, an initiative of nonprofit Main Street Skowhegan.
