Take a break and join Skowhegan Outdoors on a leisurely stroll through town. The Midday WalkAbout is an opportunity to break up your weekday routine, taking in the fresh air and sun!
WHAT TO EXPECT?
We’ll group up at Basecamp, which is located in the back of Joe's Flat Iron Cafe. The route will be revealed at the start. Participants can expect a leisurely-paced, guided, 30-45 minute walk. We’ll end at Basecamp and can unwind with a bite, which you can pack or pick up from Joe’s. Dress for the weather and bring a beverage.
This is a free community activity coordinated by the Skowhegan Outdoors AmeriCorps Program, an initiative of nonprofit Main Street Skowhegan.

Founded in 2005 by a group of citizens, Main Street relies on hardworking staff, energetic AmeriCorps members, a dedicated Board of Directors, and more than a hundred awesome volunteers to execute major community initiatives and events.
