Cast Away: Beginners Guide to Fishing is the first in a series of beginner spincast clinics. Fishing poles are available for all ages, but be sure to make your gear request in advance. Our fishing gear inventory is limited.
WHAT TO EXPECT?
Greg and the team will provide instruction on the basics of casting, with plenty of time for practice! You’ll also learn about fish biology, habitat, as well as Maine laws pertaining to recreational fishing. Come join us and learn something new while having fun fishing.
This is a free community activity coordinated by the Skowhegan Outdoors AmeriCorps Program, an initiative of nonprofit Main Street Skowhegan.
