Come hike a mountain with us! Pleasant Pond Mountain offers a 3.3 mile out-and-back trail along the Appalachian Trail and takes just over 2 hours to complete. There are some challenging sections along this trail. With an expansive view at the top, this hike will not disappoint.
Wear comfortable clothing and footwear appropriate for hiking. Bring water and a packed lunch for a picnic at the summit.
This is a free community activity coordinated by the Skowhegan Outdoors AmeriCorps Program, an initiative of nonprofit Main Street Skowhegan.

Main Street Skowhegan is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on the ongoing revitalization of historic Skowhegan, Maine. Founded in 2005 by a group of citizens, Main Street relies on hardworking staff, energetic AmeriCorps members, a dedicated Board of Directors, and more than a hundred awesome volunteers to execute major community initiatives and events.
